Bismillah:
I asked the Sun and the Moon, "What have you learnt from each other?"
They looked at each other, smiled and replied , "Never judge someone easily."
I asked curious, "How so?"
They looked at each other, smiled and replied , "Never judge someone easily."
I asked curious, "How so?"
The Sun, seem not surprised at all by my question, answered ," You see, there was this one man I hated! Please take note the past tense. Every day he would do something so bad that I did not approve he enjoying my light. One day, late evening, I told the Moon about him."
The Moon joined the conversation ," I, on the other hand, saw otherwise. The same man stood late at night and prostrated crying for his sins. It made me wonder why until Sun told me. I, on the other hand, love his company."
I was confused and the Sun noticed it and said ," I judged too quickly without knowing the bigger situation. I judged too quickly without knowing his status in Allah's eyes, is he forgiven or not. If the One who saw his sinning 24/7 would give him the chance every night to stand before Him, breathe His air and live another day, it means something, and I am in no position to judge."
The Moon added, "One more thing. He became better actually. But the Sun just would not see that with all the hatred, then. And if you look closely, his tired eyes, as though it cried "I tried and I am too week. But I will keep trying as long as You keep these eyes open, My Lord."
"I have to go and don't thank us, thank He who created us,"said the Sun and the call for Maghrib prayer was heard.
