12 Ramadhan 1437H
17 June 2016
Alhamdulillah Taala for another day in Ramadhan.
I hope that everyone's day is fruitful and productive. If not, lets make it fruitful and productive , shall we?
"The best of you, is the most beneficial to mankind."- Prophet Muhammad SAW.
I came across this quote that I believe worth sharing, "For me, happiness is moderation, it is enough for me that I am missed by my mother. It's because she is the first woman who loves me, and it is obligatory for me to make her happy afterwards." -Khairizal Dermawan
I am strucked by these beautiful words. Ma Shaa Allah Taala,
1)Happiness is moderation.
You don't need anything out of the world or anything fancy. You'll find happiness in moderation. In Shaa Allah Taala.
2) It is enough for me that I am missed by my mother.
How many of us are guilty of not acknowledging this blessing or realising it ?! :(
3) It's because she is the first woman who loves me, and it is obligatory for me to make her happy afterwards.
Everyone of us knows this fact, this truth. But how many of us acts upon it?!
It is sad, that happiness today comes with a price tag or hidden agenda or superficial definition. How can we tend to overlook that happiness can be found in small things as small as smiling to yourself in the mirror?
Ya Allah, Please guide us to the eternal happiness. Aameen.

3 Ramadhan 1437H
8 June 2016
I asked Allah Taala to grant me a companion like he had granted the companionship of Rasulullah SAW to Sayyidna Abu Bakar As-Siddiq RA. Just recently, I realised that my prayer has been granted way before I made it, since birth. I was granted the companionship of my parents, the best friends that I have been asking for my whole life,
Alhamdulillah Taala.
"Mothers are sometimes called Auliyaullah, the saints of Allah. You dont have to look far to meet a saint and be of service. "
Alhamdulillah.
Peace and Blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad SAW , his family and companions.

Alhamdulillah Taala for another blessing ,a great one I believe: To be able to meet and live another month of Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah Taala.
I've been away from blogging for awhile because of study and university commitments, but I really really wanted to update and share all the beautiful and interesting stuffs that happened in my life.
And I hope I am able to do just that when I have the free time, in Shaa Allah Taala.
So, today, will just be a short entry. A quote that moved me so much that I am still thinking about it right at this moment.
"When lovers are not able to meet, the next best thing is to send a message of love, what we call a love letter. When the letter arrives, a true lover will read it over and over, relishing the words of his or her lover. That is what the Quran is: a love letter from God. It is from The Beloved to you. And because you love Allah, you will want to read it over and over again, relishing every word from the Beloved. Moreover, you will show the greatest love and respect for the one who delivered the message because they have reconnected you with the Beloved."- Shaykh Hamza Yusuf (May Allah Taala Preserve him).
So, lets start reading our own personal love letter in this blessed month. Bismillah ~

Bismillah,
Alhamdulillah.
Peace and Blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad SAW , his family and companions.
" With Allah's Help,
she taught herself to be open to choices.
She searched for choices when it seemed there was none.
she chose to smile instead of frown.
she chose to forgive instead of staying mad.
she chose to look at the bright side instead of the dark side.
she chose to remember the happy moments instead of the sad and hurtful ones.
she chose to be happy. "

One of the best expressions I heard this week is , " May we always be in the state where Allah Taala Forgives us."
Take a moment to ponder and contemplate. Ma Shaa Allah Taala , how beautiful is the expression :")

"I have nothing to sacrifice," she said.
"You do, your heart. Forgive when others hurt you. Forget all the bitterness. Numb the pain. Hug it when it shivers with agony. Ignore the loneliness. Swallow every ounce of piercing heartbreak. Renew it. Repair it, every time it cries. Make it silent every time it retaliates. Forget the word revenge. Un-know the word, make it as if you never knew the word. Be happy for everyone. Be happy ...... just be happy. Be happy for yourself. And when your heart says , " I can't take it anymore." Tell your heart, "You can , and it will be okay, do it for Him"."
"Everything for Him?"
"Yes, everything for Him."
"For You, Ya Allah."

I have always felt this stinging pang every time I saw a beggar. I tried to identify this particular feeling but I would always end up with no answer.
Sympathy. Empathy. Sad. I know these feelings but it was not the unbearable pang that would haunt me for minutes, soemtimes hours or days.
Alhamdulillah Taala, a few days ago, Allah Taala sorted it out for me.
It was the feeling of envy mixed with uncertainty.
Envy because they lead a hard life but still manage to smile , still manage to say Thank YOU Allah, still manage to become a 'teacher' to the people around them, They are way more patient, and advanced in knowing the meaning of true happiness.
Uncertain because no matter how much I envy them, I do not think I am capable to trade shoes with them, not yet. I am not that strong.
The most painful pang is felt right at this point.
The pain caused was not in looking at how hard their lives were but in looking at myself and realising I still had a long way to go in being what I was supposed to be. The pain is caused by my ownself.
O Allah, please lead us to the straight path, the path that you are pleased with, and please detach us from anything that hinders us from being closer to you. Aameen.
Alhamdulillah.
Peace and Blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad SAW , his family and companions.

Bismillah,
Alhamdulillah.
Peace and Blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad SAW , his family and companions.
This world is a test for everyone. It is a nice place to stay but never try to claim it is our home.
Everyone has their own challenges to overcome and everyone too has the same God to turn too.
When you feel that it is too much to take, just remind yourself, you are never alone in coming out from the test. Allah is with you.
Often times, we feel like giving up, it is because we tend to forget that we are not alone. The feeling of loneliness and empty that always creep in our own fragile selves are one of many reasons for us to give up easily and are also elements that weaken our spirited selves.
We are strong, because The One that we got our strength from is The Same One who created strength Himself. Remember that. Remember. Please remember.
Try speaking to God as often as you think/speak with yourself. Try to feel His Presence.
He is always there , the only person that often fails to realise this is our forgetful selves.
And the longer we 'disconnect' from Him, the longer it will take to find our own selves back.
The fact is, Allah never left us, we are the one who walked away.
In facing challenges, try closing your eyes and say, "Allah, I need You."
The fact that you say those words is a sign that Allah is already by Your side, even before you said those words. "The need' that urges you to say those words are actually His way saying " I am here."
Don't you think that all the challenges that we face are 'soft ways' from Him telling us, "Lets go home. Be with Me." ?
Allah has given us CLEAR signs for us to ponder and see and realise, but we are too focused on other things that those SIGNS are left unlooked and un-pondered upon. That is why sometimes, challenges are brought forward to 'shake' us and open our eyes to realise before it is too late.
Isn't that LOVE, PURE LOVE, from Allah Taala Himself?
We often forget Him but does He ever forget about us? Never, not even once, not even for a nanosecond. To think about our deeds , they are too small to even earn us anything BUT the favours of Allah Taala are too big, too many , uncountable... that makes us wonder, how we even deserve these favours?
Lets realise that we are on a road, a rocky one, a hard one, sometimes there are roses , sometimes thorns, but never forget where we are heading to. When you are tired, let the vision of the destination moves you forward, when you are out of motivation let the thought that The One who is waiting for you is Him, motivates you to run and fly towards Him.
You may find companions on your way to your real lasting home. And you may be alone on this road, but don't forget to remind yourself, many have walked on the same road, experienced the same path, they have reached their destination, make it as a motivation for you to do the same. Bismillah~
In this temporary world, nothing lasts and it includes the challenges we face.
WAllahu A'alam
