Bismillah:

All Praise be to Allah SWT.
May Peace and Blessings of Allah Taala Be upon the beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW , His Family and companions RA.

Hope everyone is doing fine :)
So I decided to write a so-called poem at almost 2 a.m in the morning. ;)
Bismillah :

The darkness looms over me
The silence almost pricks me
The longed serenity slowly exposes itself

Alone and deep in thought
I look around
I look around
Everything has an expiry date
Undated but expiring
Unknown but to God

The number of stars in the sky
Are just like the number of undone tasks in my hands
Alone... I realised
Time suddenly becomes a distant friend
And the blame rightly deserves to  be on this weak soul of mine

It's a matter of time before the promised darkness comes
The hug of a very tight space is felt
And I hope I have enough time to grow myself a pair of wings
At least, after the promised time
I can fly straight to the long awaited welcoming
I hope when I fade,
I leave my prints just to fulfill
The criteria to become one of the best
"The Best of people are those most beneficial to people."

I look around
Again and again
Thinking of ways
To mend my ties with my distant accomplice; Time
As though he is trying to say
I dont want to be part of you and what you do
And what I do?
And what have I done?
Questions that came after knowing the answers

And that expiry date
I hope and I pray
Won't come or step near
My faith and my heart
I hope and I pray
That mine, my own expiry date
is in time with myself
My own self, with wings

The darkness looms over me
The silence almost pricks me
The longed serenity slowly exposes itself

The atoms in this early day
Gather and form
A faint sound
"Time, lets help her once more."
And I gladly reply....
"All Praise Be to You, My Lord, Lord of the Worlds"

Alhamdulillah Taala. I am given another chance to write on my blog! But.. I don't know where to start.
The weather is cold, btw.

Okay, today I went to Dr Suleiman Duqur's talk and what he shared really moved me. Dr Suleiman is one of the Professors in University of Jordan that is well known for his Tafseer lectures and his inputs and ways in making our minds work in the way they are supposed to, like critical thinking, thinking out of the box, and so much more.
Dr Suleiman told us that everyone has the right to do contemplation (tadabbur) of the Al-Quran. We ought to contemplate and spend time doing it. Understand the Quran by doing this,
He asked us, throughout your lifetime say 20 years, how many hours have you spent contemplating?
Ouch!

He also said that it is time for us to put a stop on the external influence that changes our Islam identity. It's time for our identity to change others.
We have to question every action of ours. We must know the purpose of doing what we are doing.

And Kak Nisa also shared with me a quote that really touches me:

Bismillah

Peace and Blessings of Allah Taala Be upon Prophet Muhammad SAW , His family and His companions .

It snowed in Jordan ! Alhamdulillah Taala!

I know! I act like a child. But who doesn't feel excited? :D

Okay, so looking at the snow I realised one thing.

The snow came from the water on Earth. And it includes dirty and smelly ones right?
But when it evaporated, became a cloud and condensed again to form snow, it was pure white.
Amazing isn't it?

The wonders of Allah SWT! In just a few moments.... something dirty and impure can be something clean and pure! SubhanAllah!!

So..
Lets get to the point.
We, humans. can never be able to run from making mistakes and sin . We sometimes feel very dirty. We lose hope and give up! We get depressed! And we just turned the other way round.

Amman, Jordan
Sometimes we experience a time where we feel empty and are tempted to do something bad. Our confidence level in the ability of ourselves to do good continuously, slowly becoming zero. Worse, we feel good and proud that we have own 'bad side'.

Why don't we take a moment and look at the snow? Don't we want to get purified and become pure?
Don;t we want to face our Creator in a clean and pure state?

When Allah shows us that He can turn dirty, polluted , full of impurities  water into clean water/snow then what makes us think that He can't make us pure from sin and mistakes in other words giving us full forgiveness? Remember, everything that happens around us is a sign, a message.
The door of His Mercy is always open..

And then again.... are we taking a step to become clean? Or we are actually happy enjoying life in dirt?
