Bismillah:

In my Seerah Nabawiyah SAW class, Duktur talked about the actual role of mosques; it not being a place for worship only but also a place where Muslims meet and discuss, a community place, place for learning, a place where warfare is discussed, a place where a strong Ummah build their foundations there and so much more.

Everyone is welcomed in the mosque.

Then, one of the students said jokingly, "But now the only one who come in and out of a mosque is the jenazah (the deceased)."

Many of us laughed but we could not ignore the bitter and sad truth behind those words.
